2. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate information about their pet’s behavior, health, routines, and any special needs. Pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations as recommended by your veterinarian. Any safety concerns, medical conditions, or behavioral issues must be disclosed prior to service.
3. Access to Property
Clients are responsible for providing safe and reliable access to their home for scheduled visits or overnight stays. Any changes (such as lock codes or key placement) must be communicated in advance.
4. Pet Behavior & Safety
While every effort is made to provide safe and loving care, the service provider is not responsible for injuries, damage, or unexpected incidents caused by a pet’s behavior, environment, or pre-existing conditions. Pets must not be left with dangerous or hazardous items accessible.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made prior to the scheduled service time. Late cancellations or last-minute changes may be subject to applicable fees. If you need to reschedule, availability is not guaranteed but every effort will be made to accommodate your request.
6. Emergency Care
If a pet becomes ill or injured during a service, the service provider will make reasonable attempts to contact the client. If the client is not reachable, the provider may seek veterinary care at the client’s expense, as deemed necessary for the pet’s safety.
7. Weather Policy
For extreme weather conditions (severe heat, cold, storms, etc.), outdoor activities may be modified for the pet’s safety. Alternative indoor enrichment or shorter walks may be provided as appropriate.
8. Payment Terms
Payment is due as outlined during booking. Failure to provide payment may result in cancellation of future services until the balance is resolved.
9. Photos & Updates
With client permission, photos of pets may be taken during services for updates or use on the business website or social media. No personal client information will ever be shared.
10. Liability
The service provider is not liable for damages to property, lost items, or incidents resulting from a pet’s behavior, pre-existing conditions, or environmental hazards. Clients assume responsibility for any costs resulting from their pet’s actions.
11. Right to Refuse Service
The service provider reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if a pet shows aggressive behavior, if the environment is unsafe, or if conditions prevent safe and responsible care.
